Cade Massey

Cade is a Professor of the Practice at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. His research is on judgment under uncertainty, including overconfidence, optimism and under- and over-reaction. He is the co-author of “The Loser’s Curse: Overconfidence vs. Market Efficiency in the NFL Draft,” and weekly co-host of SiriusXM’s “Wharton Moneyball“. Cade has a BBA from The University of Texas, a PhD and MBA from The University of Chicago, and taught at Duke’s Fuqua School of Business and Yale School of Management before moving to Wharton. He is embarrassingly obsessed with Texas Longhorn football.

Rufus Peabody

Rufus is a professional sports analyst who lives in Las Vegas, NV and Washington DC. Previously he worked as a statistical analyst for Las Vegas Sports Consultants, the largest and most influential oddsmaking company in the world. He has a B.A. in Economics from Yale University, where he wrote his senior thesis on inefficiencies in performance evaluation in the Major League Baseball betting market. Rufus is a Redskins fan.

Michael Salfino

The project originated in conversations with journalist Michael Salfino as part of his work with the Wall Street Journal.  Mike later helped turn this project into Wall Street Journal articles in both the print editions and online. Michael is partial to the Jets.
