Over the last year or so, we’ve gotten the occasional question about where to find our historical performance. And given the changes in our site over the past few years, it’s not immediately obvious where to find this. In 2010, I started posting NFL picks sporadically in the wee hours of Sunday morning. By 2011, we had laid out criteria for picks and were blogging them every week. We made a major ideological shift in our NFL model before the 2012 season, adding priors, and introduced college football ratings and picks in 2013.
All our old blog posts since our blog moved from a blogspot site can be found just by selecting “Massey-Peabody Blog” from the “Blog” drop-down menu. Or, just click this link. Archives from our old blog can be found here. (Note: if someone wants to go back and figure out our 2010 record, be my guest. We didn’t have clear pick types, or track the record, so it’s a bit much effort for me right now.)
Keeping an archive of the weekly picks is important for transparency (and it’s always interesting reading things you wrote 5 years ago!), but if you want a quick look at our performance each year, you are in luck. I put together this Google spreadsheet, which will serve as the temporary home for a summary of our performance. I’m not tech-savvy enough to figure out how to put that on the site, but I’ll work on making it easier to find this offseason!
